Role
We are seeking a qualified and responsible Thai Curriculum Teacher & School Registrar to join our team. This is a dual role combining teaching Thai subjects (language, history, and culture) with administrative responsibilities related to school registration, compliance, and official communication with the Ministry of Education (MOE) and OPEC. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and passionate about both education and administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. School Registrar Duties
- Coordinate with internal departments and OPEC officials to maintain accurate records on the OPEC database.
- Support data entry and updates for any new government systems as required.
- Collaborate with Admissions and Family Support for student data updates and reporting.
- Work with HR to maintain accurate teacher and staff records.
- Prepare and upload information requested by OPEC (e.g., vaccination quotas, subsidy requests).
- Update school profiles, charters, and other formal information as needed.
- Support academic teams with student assessments, GPAX reporting for TCAS, certifying letters, transcripts, and diplomas in OPEC formats (ป.พ.1 and ป.พ.2).
- Regular work with systems like E-DOC, OPEC, BMA, PSIS
- Assist the School Director in communications with OPEC, BMA, and other government entities.
- Help coordinate external communication related to students and operations, under the guidance of the School Director.
3. Teaching Responsibilities
- Teach Thai language, culture, and history to various age groups.
- Deliver lessons aligned with the MOE curriculum.
- Create age-appropriate educational content and lesson plans.
- Monitor and assess student progress in Thai studies.
- Integrate Thai cultural education into the broader learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Thai Education or a related field (required)
- Fluent in Thai and English (spoken and written)
- Strong understanding of the MOE curriculum and compliance requirements
- Experience with OPEC systems and government reporting preferred
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a bilingual, multicultural environment
