Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grade 2 Teacher for our Maria class at Tree Yard International School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Montessori and Cambridge teaching methods and be capable of teaching all subjects for this year group.
This role is essential in continuing the educational journey of our students,fostering their intellectual and social development.
Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in all subjects in alignmentwith Montessori and Cambridge curricula.
Classroom Management: Create a positive learning environment that supports students’ emotional and social development.
Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess student performance through various methods and use this data to inform teaching strategies.
Individualized Learning: Cater to the diverse needs of students, providing additional support where necessary.
Parent Communication: Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest educational practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Extracurricular Involvement: Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, with significant experience in Montessori and some Cambridge education systems.
