Students arrive, unpack, and prepare for the day. Many choose to read, review homework, or work quietly on morning tasks — building independence and focus.
Breakfast is a time to connect and refuel. Students serve themselves, practise responsibility, and enjoy a calm start to the day with classmates.
English stretches into more advanced skills. Students read longer texts, practise essay writing, and analyse characters, themes, and language. Lessons balance creativity with structure, preparing learners for secondary-level expectations.
A short pause to reset and prepare for maths.
Maths now covers fractions, decimals, percentages, and geometry. Students are encouraged to explain their reasoning, solve word problems, and apply maths to real-world contexts. Lessons combine fluency with logical thinking.
A chance to stretch and prepare for science.
Science is inquiry-based and practical. Students design experiments, test hypotheses, and record findings. Topics include forces, ecosystems, and chemistry basics, giving them a solid foundation for secondary science.
A balanced lunch of protein, vegetables, and grains fuels students for the afternoon. Mealtime is also a chance to practise independence and community.
Students build vocabulary, practise conversational Thai, and explore cultural traditions. Lessons are interactive and immersive, strengthening both language skills and cultural appreciation.
Time to reset before Social Studies.
Social Studies builds global awareness. Students explore history, geography, civics, and culture through projects and discussions. They are encouraged to think critically, ask big questions, and connect the past to the present.
A short pause before the final block.
Unique to the Aklum Class, this block teaches children how to learn. From note-taking and time management to research and presentation skills, students practise the habits they’ll need for secondary school. It’s about building resilience, organisation, and independence as lifelong learners.
The day ends with reflection, preparation, and calm. Students review their highlights, clarify homework, and leave organised for the next day.
Aklum is a name inspired by remarkable figures known for their resilience, courage, and dedication to positive change.
